At the heart of Garden of Ritual is our ceremonial cacao.

We work with the highest quality, handmade ceremonial cacao sourced from the Lake Atitlán region of Guatemala. This is a place we have spent meaningful time in, building genuine relationships with small-scale producers who pour care, tradition, and devotion into every step of their craft. Through this connection, we are able to source cacao that is not only rich in flavour and quality, but carries the essence of the land and the people who cultivate it.

Our suppliers have become close friends and trusted collaborators. We deeply honour the land they work with, the ancestral wisdom they carry, and the integrity with which they create. This relationship allows us to offer cacao that feels honest, pure, and aligned with the spirit of ritual.

For centuries, cacao has been revered throughout Central America as a sacred plant used in ceremony, community, and celebration. Garden of Ritual was founded by Maria Annabel, a yoga teacher, sound healer, and devoted student of nature. After years of exploring yoga, meditation, herbalism, sound, and ceremony around the world, she felt called to create a brand that brings these practices into everyday life through beautiful, intentional products.

More than a wellness brand, Garden of Ritual is an invitation to live with greater presence.

We believe ritual doesn't need to be elaborate. It can be as simple as preparing a cup of cacao before sunrise, sharing tea with a friend, lighting a candle before meditation, or taking a few conscious breaths before beginning your day. These small acts become anchors—reminding us to slow down, listen deeply, and return to ourselves.
